The following motion was passed by the membership in September of 2023.

Motion: Be it resolved that JSC-ÉJC bring together students, employers and post-secondary institutions to advance and publicly commit to best practices that ensure journalism students are appropriately compensated in ways that reflect the duration and nature of their work experiences.
